![]() ![]() I Have 1 Windows Server 2016 & 1 Windows Server 2008 & 4 Windows Server 2012 R2 On ESXi 6.0Īlso All Windows Server 2012 R2 Are Update and SEP 14.0 is installed on them.Īll Windows Server 2012 R2 Freezes randomly week to week !!! Without any event logs/dump files to go by, I am at a loss here. Pretty much concluded that it was not vmware's side and it must to at the OS level. I've reached out to vmware regarding this, they did a couple of remote sessions and This is not just related to one esx host as we've move the vm to different hosts and still get the same result. That time frame in the system or application logs. When the server has been reset, everything looks fine, I open event viewer and see nothing for I have also tried opening remote process explorer from another server but no luck connecting. To the VM, I've tried restarting guest OS with no luck. No way to reboot without just resetting power Never stops responding to pings, but I can not RDP it and when I open console I cannot interact with the console (ctrl alt insert is not responsive). I have a VM that freezes from time to time. Just sharing this information because we've been looking for an answer as well. The only thing all servers have in common is Symantec Endpoint Protection version. Issue occurs on fully patched servers, but also on servers that haven't been patched for over a year.Issue occurs on Physical servers (HP Proliant G8/9) & virtual servers running 2008 r2, 2012, 2012 r2. ![]()
